His Story

After obtaining his medical degree from LSU Shreveport, Dr. Morris moved to Dayton, Ohio to complete a family practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He then opened a traditional family practice in Oxford, Ohio and after 8 years, he transitioned to functional medicine and discovered the true power of healing. His journey led to Monument, Colorado, and to GOOD Medicine, a state-of-the-art practice founded in 2020, where the entire staff is committed to true healing through functional medicine.

Dr. Morris is the Chief Medical Adviser for Pure Encapsulations, which gives him the opportunity to educate other providers on genetics and business development. He lectures regularly on the implementation of genetics in practice through a program he designed, PureGenomics. He is passionate about educating other physicians in training with medical schools and residency programs teaching the interconnectedness of the body through functional medicine principles. Dr. Morris co-hosts the podcast, Good Medicine on the Go, with Kara Ware. Together they instruct providers of all kinds on practice implementation, and how genetics can empower both a practice and its patients.

Dr. Morris loves traveling, cycling, fly fishing, rock climbing,  kayaking, and ballroom dancing with his wife, especially tango! He truly enjoys empowering patients to take charge of their health and stay healthy by making good choices!
